I am a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where I received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Health Sciences, with a concentration in Dietetics. I completed an extensive dietetic internship at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia, before passing the national exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Administration (CDR). As part of my continuing education, I've had extensive training in weight management, presented by the CDR, and was awarded Certificates of Training in Adult Weight Management, Level 1 and Level 2.  I was also awarded a certificate of training in Diabetes Mellitus by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I will participate in future educational opportunities, as the science continues to evolve.
